Kyocera announced the launch of the Hydro Air smartphone in 2015. The manufacturer is offering the Kyocera Hydro Air phone with 5 inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.

The Kyocera Hydro Air series was launched with Android OS v5.1 (Lollipop) pre-installed, but it is upgradable to newer versions of OS as they become available.
