System

OS versionAndroid OS v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean)
SoCMediatek MT6572
CPUDual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7
GPUMali-400 MP1

The BeeX M2D comes with Android OS v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box, but it is upgradable to the next OS. Android is closely integrated with various Google services, such as Google Maps, Gmail, and Google Drive, which makes it easy for users to access and manage their data across multiple devices. The BeeX M2D has Mediatek MT6572 chipset. This CPU can be fast enough for basic phone operations. The M2D utilizes Mali-400 MP1 GPU. A GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) is a specialized chip that is primarily designed to handle and accelerate the processing of graphics and visual data. It is responsible for rendering images, videos, and animations on a smartphone screen. ARM Mali GPUs are widely used in mobile devices and have a good reputation for performance and power efficiency. They offer competitive performance and power efficiency, making them suitable for a range of applications, including gaming, multimedia, and user interface rendering.

Display

Display typeTFT
Screen size4.5 inch
Resolution480 x 800 px
Multitouch supportyes

The 4.5 inch phone comes with TFT display. A thin-film transistor (TFT) is a type of field-effect transistor that is usually used in a liquid crystal display (LCD). This type of display features a thin-film transistor for each individual pixel. In recent years, many smartphone manufacturers have moved towards using other display technologies, such as OLED and AMOLED, which offer some advantages over TFT.

Smaller smartphones are generally more compact and easier to handle. The size of the screen is measured diagonally, from corner to corner. A larger screen typically requires more power to illuminate, which can impact battery life. The display of BeeX M2D is multitouch capable. Multitouch technology enables the device's touchscreen to detect and interpret multiple touch points on the screen simultaneously.

Memory

RAM512 MB
Internal storage4 GB
Memory card slotmicroSD

512 MB of RAM is not typically considered to be enough for a smartphone. Most smartphones today come with at least 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM, and some high-end devices have even more. Having more RAM alone does not necessarily guarantee better performance, and other factors such as the processor and storage speed can also impact overall performance. 32 GB of internal storage is generally considered to be the minimum amount of storage you would want in a smartphone. The M2D has only 4 GB of internal storage. The internal storage of the M2D (4 GB) can be expanded with a compatible microSD card. A microSD card is a type of small, removable flash memory card used to store digital information.

Camera

Selfie cameraVGA

The M2D offers only a single-camera setup. The single camera can still be sufficient for many smartphone users, depending on their photography needs and preferences. The camera of the M2D has no autofocus capability (fixed-focus). An autofocus (or AF) optical system uses a sensor, a control system and a motor to focus on an automatically or manually selected point or area. Very few Android cameras come without autofocus. The M2D does not have optical image stabilization (OIS). OIS technology is more commonly found in higher-end smartphones and is designed to reduce camera shake and blur, resulting in sharper and clearer images and videos.

The BeeX M2D like all modern smartphones, is capable of connecting to Wi-Fi networks. Wi-Fi networks use radio waves to transmit data between devices and a wireless access point, which is typically connected to a wired network and serves as a hub for wireless devices to connect to the internet or other networks. With Bluetooth connectivity, you can connect your M2D smartphone to a wide range of Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as headphones, speakers, smartwatches, fitness trackers, and more.

The M2D has a GPS receiver. GPS allows smartphones to determine their precise location and provide accurate navigation and mapping services. This includes turn-by-turn directions, real-time traffic updates, points of interest, and alternative routes. The M2D isn't NFC (Near Field Communication) capable. NFC is not essential for basic phone functionality, but it can be useful for a variety of tasks and features.

The M2D phone doesn't have built-in FM radio receiver. The M2D has a microUSB port. MicroUSB is a type of USB connector that was commonly used on older smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. The M2D smartphone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. A 3.5 mm headphone jack is a small round port, that allows you to connect wired headphones or earphones to the device.

Battery

TypeLi-Ion 1050 mAh

The Li-Ion 1050 mAh battery gives the smartphone a good battery backup. The Li-ion is a low maintenance battery which offers high energy, is lightweight and does not require periodic full discharge. The battery of M2D is removable. You can simply buy a new piece from the open market and interchange it easily by yourself.

Features

Smartphones today come with a wealth of sensors to facilitate a better user experience. The accelerometer provides information about the smartphone's movement in three axes: X (horizontal), Y (vertical), and Z (depth). The Dual SIM capability of BeeX M2D phone is ideal for businesses wishing to provide staff with a mobile device that can offer separate numbers and bills for both personal and business use.
